Each year in April, the CCCPTA hosts an Annual Dinner to celebrate the successes of our local units, leaders, & schools. Local Unit PTAs and PTSAs are eligible to receive two types of awards: (1) awards that do not require an application, but are given automatically if a local unit has completed the award’s requirements, and (2) awards that do require an application by the local unit to CCCPTA & are based on specific eligibility requirements.

Attention PTA & PTSA Leaders! Do you have a great idea for your school’s PTA / PTSA? CCCPTA would like to help by providing funds to worthwhile programs that will strengthen the family - school partnership according to PTA’s National Standards.

The goal of the CCCPTA Grant Program is to help school level local units in our county partner & lead in family engagement.

CCCPTA is proud to sponsor a Scholarship Program, which is intended to provide extra financial assistance to make it possible for a student to continue his or her education upon graduating from high school. This could mean going to college, entering trade school, or other post-high school training.

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement & a demonstrated commitment to & engagement in community service.

Your Virginia & National PTA also have various awards, grants, & scholarship opportunities. Make sure to take advantage of all that is offered.

Inclusive Schools Week also provides an important opportunity for educators, students, & parents to discuss what else needs to be done in order to ensure that their schools continue to improve their ability to successfully educate all children.
